OMAS The Paragon: 150625 — 100th Anniversary Pen

Features an original OMAS 14K Extra Flex nib from 1939, preserved in founder Armando Simoni’s office safe and later discovered by his daughter and grandson.

Designed by Raffaella Malaguti Simoni and Gianluca Malaguti Simoni to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Armando Simoni opening the OMAS headquarters at Via Orbi 4—now Via Filippo Turati 8—on June 15, 1925, the OMAS The Paragon: 150625 is a fountain pen of exceptional elegance.

Representing an extraordinary combination of craftsmanship intended to be passed down through generations and 21st-century engineering, the OMAS The Paragon: 150625 remains faithful to Armando Simoni’s founding philosophy. The pen combines OMAS’s distinctive twelve-faceted barrel design, proprietary RAMS resin, a precision-machined 0.3 mm-thick black titanium internal structure, and an original OMAS 14K gold nib from 1939, preserved for decades in Armando Simoni’s office safe, creating a technically unique writing instrument.

This masterpiece is limited to just 125 pieces worldwide. Each pen is presented in a special wooden display box together with a certificate of authenticity signed by President Raffaella Simoni Malaguti and Gianluca Malaguti Simoni.

Eli ★★★★★

The nib is the star here—it's genuinely flexible in a way modern pens just aren't, with a lovely snap on the upstroke. It feels like holding a piece of history that still works perfectly.

The 14K Extra Flex nib from 1939 writes like a dream—it’s soft, responsive, and unlike anything modern. I’ve only inked it twice, but each time feels like holding a piece of history in my hand.
